In the order of distractions

It is my position that school is the single greatest distraction from my education.

The mind was not meant to learn in this way. My mind at least, wot wot?

I say this every exam week, but it all feels so unnatural. Being pulled in 5 different directions at once and having to divide your attention between them; the strict, regimented, and segmented progression ever-forward - sometimes in pulses and sometimes a steady line, always indifferent to the student's own intellectual pace.

God forbid some bit of study should grab my interest! My mind can barely split in two without shutting down completely. If I actually pursued the passing passion, that'd be the end of me and my degree. I should incorporate copious quantities of alliteration into all future posts.
